(I did this first because unless you have the parking brake on, the FJ is free rolling when utilizing the driveline disconnect coupler). 2.I highly recommend a weight distributing hitch on the FJ. I have towed 5-6k on a regular basis with no issues. Most I ever towed was 8,000lb 16' long trailer. Longest I ever towed was a 23' long car hauler. I never had an issue with either at 70 mph.
