Jun 20, 2006 · One can go about it two ways. 1. a) Take the fan and shroud out of the way in order to gain access to the pump. b) Remove the PSP pulley nut with a 17mm and take the pulley off. In most cases, the pulley might be rusted on to the PSP shaft. It's best if you use some PB blaster and let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes.Add some power steering fluid to the back side of the stub shaft and place another o-ring in as shown. Take the stub shaft bearing assembly and press in the new seal. Confirm its seated all the way in. Install the o-ring on the rack piston nut. Then install the Teflon seal OVER the o-ring previously installed.Gearbox rebuilds Include: Confirmation email after check-in - confirming options and costs. Complete disassembly.
