606 posts · Joined 2008. #1 · May 21, 2017. I installed and EZ drain valve last year. This oil change I noticed a ring of corrosion on the oil pan around the valve. Its very minor. But I'm thinking the valve with its o-ring doesnt sit flush with the pan, and over time moisture traps and you get corrosion.
