Jun 11, 2013 · IOD Fuse Draw. Hello everyone. I have a 1999 Dodge 2500 5.9 diesel. I am having a weird problem. Everything was working fine one day and then: I parked my truck at work in the morning at 8:00AM. Worked till 5:00PM, went to start truck and bam..its dead. So, I jumped it, drove it to the repair shop and had the batteries tested, which were fine. The only proper way to fix is start at the fuse, ck for power & ground. You'll probably find 2 power connectors every time the iod is used or the ignition is turned on. If so, you must trace the wires to find where the wiring is getting a 2nd power source (shorting out) Make sure that's the only item that fuse controls If not make sure to find ... Fuse Box Location.
